Nature of Tuition
The defining factor in our lessons is our focus on the best method of learning for each individual student. Learning at JM Tutoring is not a matter of page after page from a textbook and not a case of ‘one size fits all’ education.

After assessing a student’s unique strengths, weaknesses and goals we set about designing lessons that target each of these areas. Most of the lessons and materials utilized at JM Tutoring were constructed by us specifically for our classes. Other materials are sourced from a range of popular textbooks, current events media and a broad spectrum of internet resources.

We offer a range of lesson schedules depending on our students’ needs. Group classes allow students to work together in cooperative activities toward common goals in their target subject. Group classes are limited to a maximum six places per class to ensure that each student still benefits from the personal attention of their tutor in every lesson.

Individual lessons (one student; one tutor) are also available allowing us to focus intensively on the student’s particular learning needs.
